What to do....everyone please read, thank you

I had a question from the someone about what we should have for monday, we just need more research and the industrial design students are going to start sketching and trying to come up with ideas today so we will scan them in and post them online later and you can tell us what you think. if you think of any ideas let us know and then we should have a concept board for monday with research and concepts on it. maybe one of you can do demographic research but just continue with the research and posting, thank you.

take a look at the shower environment, all of the bottles that are in there, where the body wash is placed, can it fall easy? take a picture of showers and go through the motions and steps of using body wash ex. you pick up the bottle, tilt it, the bottle slips out of your hand, you pick it up again, open the top squirt it on a wash cloth, tilt it back, close the lid, and put the bottle down. I don't know if any of you ever heard of 7-14-28 but i think we all need to do that and go through the steps, what problems do people have? getting the liquid out, it slipping out of their hand, opening the lid?

Ideas

I have been asking around about what would be a person's ideal bottle and the ideal bottle is a top similar to the one above on the baby powder bottle, a bottle that has ridges on the sides for good grip in the shower, a toggle bottle, and something that isn't s big as the Dove body wash bottles. Everyone said they just didn't want the mess around the top or the hassle of turning the bottle upside down. Less mess, more efficient in the shower!

I was also thinking about a lock top. Instead of having a cap that gathers at the top and gets crusty and you always have to clean it. The type of tops that you basically switch over to open and then it locks so you do not have to worry about spillage

Measurements Answered

Here are some measurements of what I have at home.

Jergens- 11 inches tall 3 inches wide
Dove-  9 inches tall 2 inches at top dispenser 3 inches at bottom
St Ives- 5 inches tall 2 inches at the dispenser, 3 inches at the top

Measurements

I tried looking up measurements of body wash bottles, bottles in general like shampoo conditioner, couldn't find anything, i also tried to find measurements of current pumps and the opening size that the liquids come out of but didn't have any luck on finding anything so maybe someone else can find it or if you can measure your bottles at home that would be great, thank you
